Cedar Grove Nature Trail is a short 1/2 mile lose gravel/paved trail in North Everett next to the Cedar Grove Composting company. Its around 15min west from northbound I-5. Leaving the parking lot you have a short walk between large fields to get to the paved trail that runs along one of the Everett Sloughs. The large open area is prime hunting grounds for the raptors in the area to go after smaller birds and other animals. You can take a short walk east to have a look at the a rail road bride and marina across the slough. Walking west you will come across 2-3 ship wrecks right on shore. Its hard to tell how long those vessels have been abandoned. Looks like they were made of wood and just left to rot and break apart it seems.
