Open Tuesday through Sunday, 10am to 4pm

Built in 1912 the Volunteer Park Conservatory now compromises of 5 buildings that feature bromeliads, ferns, palms, seasonal, and cacti and succulents. Made up of 3,426 glass panes fit into a wood and iron framework, this Victorian-style greenhouse structure is modeled on London's Crystal Palace.

No. 108 Marymoor Community Garden

Where is the garden?
 The garden is on the western end of Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA., near the concert stage and off-leash dog park. From Highway 520 take the south bound exit to West Lake Sammamish Parkway. Turn left at NE Marymoor Way. Turn right at the second intersection and it will be on your left after you pass the pay booths. There is a $1 daily usage fee to enjoy the Park.

Marymoor Community Garden is run by a non-profit organization that maintains and administers a 2.9 acres area with the King County park. There are 80 gardening plots ranging in size from 10'x40' to half plots with are 10'x20' that are handed out through an application process.
Some gardeners chose to grow vegetables while others fill their plot with flowers. In late spring you can start to see the fruits of these gardeners labor come to life and the fragrances and colors last through the summer.

Referred to as Snohomish County's 'treasure', the Evergreen Arboretum & Gardens is both a place of beauty and education and is free to the public. Located on 3 ½ acres in Everett Washington, its ten themed gardens include the Urban Tree Walk, Entrance Garden, Rock Garden, Northwest Native Plant Trail, Rain Garden, Japanese Maple Grove, Northwest Demonstration Garden, Viewing Mound, Woodland and Conifer Gardens as well as the 200' Snohomish County Master Gardener's Demonstration Border and sculptures throughout. Weaving through these gardens are ADA approved pervious pathways in most areas. There are countless ways to experience and enjoy all that the Evergreen Arboretum has to offer; docent-led tours, free educational classes, the annual plant sale and volunteerism. Come witness the beauty that every season holds. The Arboretum is open from dawn until dusk.
